This beautiful deciduous white flowering crab apple is more widely known for its erect growth habit, making it very suitable for confined areas. The leaves are maple-like with serrated deep lobes. The foliage is bright green, darkening, and then changing to yellow, orange and red in beautiful autumn tonings.
Flowers in summer and when in full bloom, the tree is a stunning floral mass of large, white flowers.
Prefers slightly acidic, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Protect from strong winds
Plant in full sun in a well-drained and well-worked soil. Water well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears.
