
Fraxinus excelsior 'Jaspidea' (syn 'Aurea')
A large deciduous spreading tree with a rounded crown of greenish-yellow leaves which turn a brilliant golden yellow during autumn. In winter, distinctive black buds contrast with the yellow branches.
Plant in a sunny position in well drained soil. Prefers cool winters. An ideal specimen tree for large lawns and gardens.
Prune to shape when young if necessary. Frost tolerant.
