
Buxus sempervirens "Suffruticosa"
A compact, evergreen shrub prized as a hedge or topiary subject. Rounded leaves are bright, shiny green. Slower growing than English Box.
Ideal for defining edges of paths, vegetable and herb gardens. Ideal in tubs or containers. Topiary and low formal hedges. For hedges plant 4 or 5 plants per meter.
Grows well in free-draining soil. Tolerant of strong wind, salt spray, frost and up to 90% shade. Trim in summer and winter.
