Cedrus deodara is also known as the Himalayan Cedar. It is a hardy, evergreen, fast growing tree with a pyramidal shape and soft grey-green foliage which can become slightly pendant in spring when weighed down by soft new growth.
A very attractive specimen tree for medium to larger gardens where you have enough space to appreciate its beauty of form and texture.
Plant in moist but well drained soil. They do not tolerate waterlogging. Mulch to keep roots cool in summer. Feed annually with a slow-release fertiliser. Forst hardy.
Grows: H 30m x W 6m
