A lovely, rounded, deciduous tree with bright green, heart-shaped leaves which turn shades of red and gold in autumn. From early spring, masses of single, white blooms are displayed.
The Manchurian Pear is an ideal shade tree for medium to large gardens, parks and farms.
Prefers an open, sunny site with moist, well drained soil however will tolerate clay and compacted soils. Mulch well and keep moist until established.
